Muscle Pup Rex
Feast your eyes on our newest pup in the Woodpile. AWROOOO!!!
5/8/2025

PW: Welcome to the Woodpile, pup! Let's start with a little about you. Who is Muscle Pup Rex? What's your breed and age, and what kind of pup are you?
REX: My breed would have to be a wolf, the werewolf kind specifically. My age is [REDACTED], so, let's just say late 20s.
PW: What’s Rex’s origin story? Who would play you in the movie?
REX: All I can say is the name Rex has been with me for a long time, ever since I was a preteen. One thing most people don't know is Rex has a last name; it's Brock. With that information, Rex would definitely like to play Venom in a movie!
PW: What kind of a pup are you?
REX: What kind of pup am I? That's a great question, one that I'm not sure I can put into a concrete answer. I would say a run-of-the-mill extroverted pup. I love to meet new people and try new things.
“Say what you mean, mean what you say, and remember you have exactly the friends you deserve, for better or worse.”

PW: Where did you grow up? Was it a good childhood?
REX: Rex had a pretty normal childhood by American standards, growing up in the midwest with a family who tried their best, and I really can't blame them for that.
PW: If a small family from the suburbs saw you out in public in your full pup gear, what would they say? What would you say to them?
REX: What an interesting question. A year ago, I would have said something like "I would never wear my gear in that kind of environment.” However, now that I have had some more time, I have a better answer! I think most of them wouldn't say anything. I had the opportunity to wear my pup hood to a county fair with about six other pups. No one paid much attention to us other than to say, “Your dog mask is cool.” As far as what I would say to them, that answer hasn't changed much. I don't think I would engage with them very much. To me, it's still rooted as a kink and not something I make a habit of bringing into casual spaces.
PW: So, you're a muscle pup! That’s obvious. VERY obvious. Tell us about your fitness routine. Are you a strict gym pup or do you like to play your way to strength?
REX: Image plays a decent part in my pup play. I think that goes for a lot of pups, especially those that may have gotten started because of all the ridiculously sexy pups on social media these days. I like to coordinate with my pack and usually pick one photo op outfit per event. I think it's important to me not only as a postable piece of an event, but I love photography, and it makes holding onto those memories easier. I have a terrible memory.
PW: Are you more into the platonic or sexual side of pup play? What do you enjoy most about it?
REX: That just depends on who I'm interacting with at the moment. I have pup friends that I don't have any sexual interest in, who I will pup out equally with those I do. When there is attraction, the gear and the hood, and the headspace increase the thrill and sensation of sensual situations.

PW: What is the sexiest thing about a pup?
REX: For me personally, something that Rex just cannot resist, outside of muscles and strength…obviously, is noises. Rex loves to hear a pup whine and whimper. It drives the wolf crazy. Arrrruffff!
PW: What makes Rex a great playmate?
REX: I like to think one thing that makes me a ( let's say good playmate, great is a standard I don't think I can give myself haha) is foreplay, not just the physical, the flirting and suggestion beforehand is something I enjoy almost as much as the act itself, the anticipation of what's going to happen enhances the whole experience and it's something I like to share with my partners.
PW: Where do you live? Is it a pup-friendly city?
REX: I recently made a cross-country move from the Midwest to the West Coast, southern California to be more specific. Orange County is a very liberal area and, in general, more accepting of almost everything.
PW: How would you describe the pup scene in your area? Are there any local events or groups you're involved in?
REX: The pup scene in OC isn’t what I would call great, however just a hop skip and jump away is LA where the pup events are plentiful and the community is pretty big! I have a personal favorite event and that's Howl, it happens in DTLA at Precinct. It is a fantastic event that is hosted by CyberSexPuppy GhostPupDume. The themes are always great and everyone is always amicable and open to a chat or growl.

PW: Are you in a pack? What role do you play?
REX: Yes, I am, that wasn't always the plan though, for a while I took on the lone alpha role, I enjoyed giving direction and playing the part of an alpha without having my own pack. However, life is rarely ever that easy, and it turns out that I just needed the right combination of pups and personalities to settle into my own. Today I'm pack alpha of KnotAPack, a group of the best and cutest muscle pups from here to NYC. I have my gorgeous Beta and Delta MusclePupBluey and PupCubby, and we have our Sigma Alpha PupCasperBraun and our Omega MusclePupGrey. We're more than just pack mates, we're brothers.
PW: What do you think of the pup scene of today? Are you proud to be a part of it?
REX: I am pretty happy with how the scene is today. There are always going to be detractors in any kink space. The people with the worst opinions are always the loudest. I think just like any gay circle of influence, the pup space tends to gravitate toward cliques. Hell, some of us even structure ourselves into “packs.” As long as people try not to take themselves or a hierarchy too seriously, I think the community will continue to thrive, and I am proud to have my little spot in it.
PW: I see you’ve got a few followers on Instagram. You’re a pretty popular pup. How does that feel to be a pup icon?

REX: Pup icon? Haha, I have never thought of myself as something like that, especially when I compare myself to other popular dogs like Buday Rocky or Zander. It has never been about the follower count for me. While I certainly will do my best with what I have, I just wanna keep making positive associations with new pups. I thank them all for deciding to come on my adventures with me!
PW: Where do you see yourself in 5 years as a pup? Any big goals or aspirations?
REX: As a pup I think my biggest goal is to still be a positive figure, while it can be overwhelming trying to respond or get back to people, I try my best, while balancing my mental health. I hope that in 5 years all the people that I have met still have happy memories of their time with me, and that I am still at the front of this amazing pack of muscle pups who continually prop me up.
PW: What do you do when you're not in your pup headspace? Any hobbies or side-hustles?
REX: Rex enjoys relaxing with some video games. At the moment, he has been playing a lot of Warframe since the new update came out. But I also love survival horror. He loves Star Trek and Star Wars, so there is a greater than zero percent chance that somewhere in the house, one of those is playing for some background noise. Aside from that, I have decided to try my legs at mountain biking and hope for the best.
PW: Finish this sentence: “I love it when _______.”
REX: My boyfriend decides he needs my bone RIGHT NOW, regardless of where we are or what we’re doing…
PW: What advice would you give other puppies that are just getting started?
REX: DO NOT rush out and try to join a pack as a new pup or a pup at any stage. Take time to come into your own and figure out the kind of pup you are before taking the pack plunge. Remember, you're a person who has worth. You are more than a nice body or a pretty face. You don't need a pack to validate yourself. Last but certainly not least, never do ANYTHING that makes you uncomfortable to join or stay in a pack.
