Pup Trench ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช

When I stumbled upon this pup's profile, his powerful presence immediately caught my attention. And then I saw that he called himself a Miltech K9. Oh, now I knew he has to come to the Woodpile!

PW: Willkommen im Holzstapel, Trench! So tell us, how did you get your pup name?

TRENCH: It was very exciting for me when I realized that every puppy has its own name and that you can choose that name yourself. I thought about what name I should choose for many weeks. Trench is the name of a character from Star Wars, a general in the droid army. I had bought a camo hood. "Trench" has a military origin, often associated with warfare.

PW: On Instagram you call yourself a Miltech K9. Miltech fascinates me, and your pictures are very cool. What does it mean?

TRENCH: Miltech is written on a patch that came with my vest. An abbreviation for Military Tech. K9 refers to dogs in the military or police. I see myself more as a tactical puppy who operates in the background.

PW: How did you get involved in pup-play? Did you have a guide or mentor?

TRENCH: I was introduced to pup-play in 2023 when I met two pups. It was my first time having close contact with pup play, but I immediately thought it was fantastic. We drove together to a fetish shop where I bought my first hood. As a pup, I don't have a leader or a mentor.

PW: How do you think others see you?

TRENCH: As a pup, most people find me intimidating. But I'm actually quite sweet and innocent.

PW: What kind of special equipment and gear do you have?

TRENCH: My gear consists of boots, cargo pants, a thermal shirt, a motocross jacket, a collar, the pup hood, and gloves. The pup hood has a small metal ring so I can attach it to a carabiner on my vest. I sometimes hang handcuffs on another carabiner, you know, in case puppies get naughty.

PW: If other pups wanted to get into Miltech, where should they start?

TRENCH: First of all, you should ask yourself whether a military-inspired style suits you at all, and then whether you want to wear so much clothing. In summer temperatures, you quickly sweat under such heavy gear. It's really just a uniform that you buy. It's all a matter of taste.

PW: Are you aggressive in your pup-play? Dom? Sub? Switch?

TRENCH: I can be aggressive, but mostly I'm quite sweet and need cuddles. I prefer to be a dom rather than a sub. I feel more comfortable in this role, but that doesn't mean that I haven't had any experience as a sub so far.

PW: Are you single?

TRENCH: I'm single again. At the beginning of the year, I met someone, a young puppy, and it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, things didn't work out between us. I still think about him very often.

PW: Are you out? Are you out as a pup? Or in Miltech?

Trench: As a human, I am out to family, friends, and at work. As a pup, only friends and my mother know me.

PW: What attracts you most about putting on the hood and gear?

TRENCH: I am anonymous; I am someone else. Like many other puppies, I find slipping into another role and escaping everyday life appealing too.

PW: Where do you live? Is your city pup-friendly? How large is the LGBTQ+ community in your area of Germany?

TRENCH: I live in Bonn, Germany. Until the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of East and West, Bonn was the capital. Today it is a small provincial town again. I wouldn't describe the city as explicitly pup-friendly; there is no gay scene, bars, etc. If you're looking for that, you have to go to Cologne. Cologne is a magnet for the entire LGBT community in the region.

PW: What kind of legacy would you like to leave? What one sentence would you want inscribed on your gravestone?

TRENCH: At 26, I cannot say whether I will leave a legacy. But on my tombstone, it will say, "He came, he saw, and he barked." (Veni, Vidi, Latravi)

PW: Are you in a pack or are you a loner?

TRENCH: I am a loner. Pack structures don't suit me.

PW: What do you want your life to be like in ten years?

TRENCH: There is little point in having wishes for the future, things usually turn out completely differently than you expect.

PW: When youโ€™re not in your pup headspace, what do you like to do? Any hobbies?

TRENCH: I cycle a lot and have some plants at home, but I don't really have any hobbies.

PW: If you could cast one magic spell, what spell would you choose? Harry Potter is a pup, you know. True story.

TRENCH: My magic spell would make me buy large amounts of Bitcoin in 2013 and I would be richer than Bill Gates!
